RESUMEN

Este artículo analiza la producción historiográfica escrita sobre la Extremadura Moderna entre 1985 y 2010. La trayectoria que ha seguido a lo largo de estos 25 años sugiere un proceso de continuidad que abarca la mayor parte del período, iniciándose a partir de 1995 un cambio significativo en las líneas de investigación tratadas tradicionalmente por el modernismo extremeño.

ABSTRACT

This article discusses the historiographical production about the modern age in Extremadura written between 1985 and 2010. The path followed over the past 25 years suggests a process of continuity that includes most of the period, starting from 1995 a significant change in the research traditionally treated by the historians of modern Extremadura.
