RESUMEN

Pretendemos con este trabajo conocer las trayectorias de las casas y hogares que giran en torno al análisis de las formas de relación -entre padres, hijos y otros parientes o familiares-, organización y reproducción social, claves para entender y explicar la estructura y evolución de las sociedades y sus procesos de cambio. Nuestra zona de investigación son las tierras de La Mancha oriental, el espacio conocido actualmente como Campo de Montiel de Albacete, a finales del Antiguo Régimen. El paso del tiempo y las últimas voluntades marcarán un nuevo destino en la casa: fragmentada entre sus herederos, unida tras anteriores divisiones, agregada a otra casa contigua o vendida a los familiares. Su envejecimiento estaba vinculado al de su propia familia que, como parte del patrimonio, era legado a los herederos designados. De tal forma que la casa se verá transformada con cada una de las nuevas generaciones que la ocupen. El entrecruzamiento de datos entre el Catastro de Ensenada, Protocolos notariales (testamentos, inventario de bienes), Libros Municipales y Parroquiales será la metodología utilizada que, lejos de quedarnos en estadística, permitirá un mayor y mejor conicimiento de la complejidad del sistema social y de sus mecanismos de funcionamiento y reproducción.

ABSTRACT

The aim of this work is to know the houses and household trajectories around the analysis of the different ways of relationship -between parents, childrens and other relatives- organization and social reproduction, key points to understand and explain the society structure and evolution and process of change. Our researching area is west La Mancha, currently better known as Campo de Montiel in Albacete, in the latest Ancient Regime. A new destiny is marked in the house as time goes on and the last wishes are carried out: divided between the heirs, united after earlier division, added to an adjacent house or sold to the family. The house's ageing is connected with the family's ageing, that was bequeathed to the appointed heirs as a part of the heritage. So, the house will be transformed with each generation that occupy it. The data interwining between the registry of the Catastro de Ensenada, notarial Protocols (testaments, inventory of belongings), Municipal and Parochial Book will be the methodology used and, apart from statistics, will allow a better knowledge of the complex social system and the functioning and reproduction mechanisms.
