RESUMEN

El estudio de las bibliotecas, ya sean públicas o privadas, de instituciones o de particulares, constituye un instrumento de gran valor para aproximarnos al conocimiento de las pautas culturales y los avances científicos del pasado. No es otro el objetivo que se persigue en este trabajo sobre la librería del médico zafrense Marcos Gutiérrez.

ABSTRACT

The study of libraries, whether public or private, institutional or individual, is a crucial method of the investigation of the cultural standards and scientific advances from the past. It is the primary objective in under standing the contribution of the library that belonged to the doctor born in Zafra, Marcos Gutiérrez Rico.
