RESUMEN

El desarrollo de los trabajos relacionados con la historia de la familia, de la mujer y de la violencia en las sociedades de Antiguo Régimen, ha permitido comprobar cómo las relaciones existentes entre quienes formaban parte de las familias durante el período moderno se vieron alteradas a menudo por la existencia de conflictos que sólo en ocasiones llegaron ante las diferentes instancias de la administración de justicia. Nuestro trabajo pretende ser una aproximación a este tema en el territorio extremeño durante los siglos XVI al XVIII, en la que analizamos los conflictos planteados entre los esposos, padres e hijos y quienes estaban relacionados por otros vínculos de parentesco.

ABSTRACT

The development of the work related to the history of the family, women and violence in the societies of Old Regime, has shown how the relationships between those who were part of the families during the modern period were often altered By the existence of conflicts that only occasionally arrived before the different instances of the administration of justice. Our work intends to be an approximation to this subject in the Extremaduran territory during the XVI to XVIII centuries, in which we analyze the conflicts between the spouses, parents and children and who were related by other kinship ties.
